Who has a bad father? Well, almost everybody, if bad means not perfect. Many people actually have bad fathers. Bad, bad fathers. My own father was a wonderful man, but without many philosophical or mystic leanings, much less literary. Humor? Oh yeah, he had that, being the world’s greatest pull-my-finger guy of all time. He for sure was a good father, but he didn’t talk much. And words are kind of my thing. And weird stuff, which definitely was not in Dad’s line.
The word procrastinate is formed from two latin words — pro, meaning ‘forward’, and crastinus, meaning ‘belonging to tomorrow’. So, procrastination is the act of putting something into tomorrow and, of course, it suggests that it is always ‘in tomorrow’ — so never gets done.
quotes in latin Now instead of having sacks of paper we use little square plastic cards to buy stuff with money that we don’t have. We promise to pay for it with money that we may never get. When we get it paid for we will go out and buy more stuff because the stuff we have now will be broken.
Don’t believe it? You might be surprised if you were to go back and foreign ladies look at some of the things you’ve said. Look at some messages you’ve sent, and then consider saying the exact same words in a face-to-face or a telephone conversation. Sound a little rough? latin language The paper was easier to carry. It wasn’t bulky, which made it easier for Robin Hood to rob the rich and give the money to the poor. The paper money was undetectable when Robin Hood stuffed the millions he stole inside his tights. Folks just thought he had huge thighs. However, all the kings men as well as the poor began manufacturing their own money. They cut pieces of paper from the Wall Street Journal and Sears & Roebuck catalogues. Soon everybody had so much paper it became worthless. Robin Hood stopped robbing people since his tights were now full of money which nobody wanted. This caused him to waddle like a duck whenever he tried to walk, and that is how the term «tight wad» came about.
I am not a Bible scholar nor have any knowledge of Hebrew. But, did you notice the ‘AH’ that the Lord added to both their names? I am convinced that God has a fantastic sense of humor and, reading it in English, I would like to think he said to Abraham and Sarah: ‘Do you get what I’ve been trying to tell you for years? Now just keep speaking it until it becomes an AHA revelation down in your heart.’ Guess what happened! Every time they called each other, or their many servants addressed them, they didn’t merely turn their heads in response to hearing their name any more! They heard God’s prophetic Word over their lives!
